How will noise levels be minimized?
Work hours are restricted in order to minimize nuisance noise during morning and evening hours. The contractor will be conscientious of their work practices in order to avoid neighborhood disruptions. The crew will be utilizing a chainsaw, mini excavator, and a mini track dumper throughout the construction period.
Will there be increased traffic?
There will be a slight increase of traffic in and out of the project area. Construction traffic is expected to be light.
Where will the workers park during construction?
Residents will continue to be able to park in their driveways and normal parking spots. Contractors will be parking along the streets and near the project site. Contractors will be mindful to not block driveways.
Will there be access restrictions on driveways or homes nearby?
No, the roadway and private driveways will remain open for residents to travel in and out of, as normal.
What safety measures are in place for residents and workers?
Limited trail closures will be necessary in order to maintain public safety during certain construction activities. Please contact the Project Managers listed on this webpage under Contact Us.
Are there plans for future construction?
The City completed a conceptual design that lays out additional trail segments beyond the scope of this project. However, there is no plan in the near future to continue building out these sections.
