How do I modify Lime vehicle access, speed, and parking on my property?

Lime offers riding and parking zones that restrict where you can ride, your vehicle’s speed, and where you can park your vehicle. These zones appear as shaded areas outlined in red, yellow, or blue on the Lime app map.

    No go zones
Lime vehicles aren’t authorized to travel in No Go zones.  If you enter a No Go zone, your vehicle will gradually come to a stop. You must walk your vehicle out of the No Go zone to resume your ride.

    Low speed zones
Your vehicle will gradually slow down when you enter a Low-Speed zone.

    No parking zones
Parking your vehicle in No Parking zones is prohibited. If you try to end your ride in a No Parking zone, the app will alert you of parking restrictions and help you locate nearby parking.

    Mandatory parking zones (Corrals)

Some locations have Mandatory Parking zones. When you end your ride, the app will alert you of parking restrictions and help you locate nearby parking.

Who is liable in the event of a Lime incident on either the public right of way or private property?

Liability for damage or injury related to use of Lime’s vehicles depends upon the specific circumstances of the incident.

In the incident a Lime vehicle fails and causes injury to a user, Lime would likely be wholly liable, regardless of where the incident occurred. However, if a user’s negligence (such as riding too fast or through pedestrians) contributes to the incident, then liability would shift at least in part to the user.

If there are hazardous condition in the location of an incident that contributes to the incident occurring, then the property owner will likely share some liability if the hazard was known to the owner. This is a similar level of liability exposure presented by pedestrians, bikers, or drivers on private property.
